Strangely I was quite content using the 3 pin evse when I was stuck on a capped rate (due to Shell Energy selling to Octopus), I'd just charged as and when I needed to with a bit of bonus solar as and when. Once the transfer completed I switched to Go to get 5 hours at 8.5p, I found myself only charging at night and then I found it inconvenient as I would end up plugging in for 2 or 3 consecutive nights to add around 50% charge. Ultimately this was the driver for getting a Zappi and it looks like I will be charging 3 or 4 times a month instead of 11-12 with the 3 pin.
