I've a 2022 MG4 EV.. Public chargers aren't recognising my car. I've the tried 3 pin charger at home and it starts but then stops.
When the lead is connected do I have to press lock on the dash and start.? Or do I simply plug in, lock Car ,and that's all ?

Think I've sorted it. It's now charging at home. Had the scheduled charging time active. Downloaded the app have have turned scheduled charging off. Fingers crossed

Still have problem with ccs public chargers. Not recognising Car. Chargers on 3 pin at home no problem.
Is there settings in the car that need to be altered at all?

Some people say it helps to hold the CCS charger up in place because it is heavy and doesn't make an adequate connection on the upper comms pins.

Thanks. I'll try that on my next attempt. Currently on 3 pin charging overnight

It also sometimes takes a while to learn what order a particular rapid charger wants things done in. Sometimes you need to lock the doors as this also locks the charging cable. Ideally, it should Just Work™, but in practice, chargers can be picky.

Dash has now lit up like a Christmas tree. Still won't fast charge. I've returned the car and gone elsewhere.
