Hi have just had my trophy long range into the dealers, weather not showing hotspot not working or wifi,
Picked up car dealer says it's all good no problem they tell me the car does not have a hotspot or wifi it uses your phone as data which is utter rubbish as the car has its own hotspot.
So they have had the car all day and done nothing and the problem still exists also can't log in to I smart, any ideas guys (help) as mg are no help

Do you get the "Initialization is failed" Error message when manually updating the weather info?
also, is your "user" app working (loading POIs for example)?
I couldn't get the weather app working on r59 and r63 and went back to r46, where it is working good.
other users still have a working weather app on these versions...

There's a well-reported workaround for the hot spot not working - set a manual DNS address in your mobile device. (e.g. 8.8.8.8 which is the Google DNS server, or 1.1.1.1 which is CloudFlare DNS).

Dont think its an actual conection problem as my phone says it is connected to wifi but not available.
the wifi symbol on the front of my phone shows full bars with an exclamation mark.

I think that is exactly what I've described ... full signal but no Internet connection. And there's no Internet connection because everything tries to connect via names, but actual servers are found via numbers/IP addresses ... the DNS (Domain Name Server) is what translates names to numbers/addresses.

As a test, open the browser on your phone (whilst connected to the hotspot) and enter 142.250.65.195 as the website address ... this is the IP address of google.co.uk ... if the web page opens then this should confirm my theory.
