Is the zappi on a schedule? do you have the zappi app to check its status? Are there any lights on the zappi?
It has the option but it's not set up. Doesn't ask for pin either. We have a Zappi at work that I charge with, I have to enter the unlock code before it will start charging. Is your Zappi code locked?
This sounds like there's a schedule for charging set on the car.Zappi initially says charging the charge delayed. No charge delivered at all. Car says connected but not charging.
Could you confirm if you are back on the MG4 or your sisters Enyaq to avoid confusion. Granny was OK on MG4 so no schedule....This sounds like there's a schedule for charging set on the car.
"When a message of 'Charge Delayed' appears it means the Zappi is providing power for the EV to charge from, but the EV is not accepting the charge for whatever reason. Usually it means the EV has a timer set that is preventing a charge at that time."
Have you checked the charge settings on the car to see if there's a schedule set. Though this wouldn't explain why the granny charger worked.
Why havent you just phoned myenergi? No schedule set on the car, just driven to my sisters house plugged onto her BP pulse charger and worked instantly, so it's clearly an issue with the zappi.
Why not contact Myenergi and ask them as they make it, surely that's the simplest answer? [email protected] or call on +44 (0)333-300-1303No schedule set on the car, just driven to my sisters house plugged onto her BP pulse charger and worked instantly, so it's clearly an issue with the zappi.
Let us know if the Tesla cable works please. £85 is a bargain. But you need a Tesla owner to order it for you. ThanksI’m tight and thought I’d bagged a bargain by purchasing a Tesla 32amp type 2 type 2 cable for £85 - now my pessimism makes me think it’s not going to work on an mg4…
