How much you paid for a brand new MG4

I’m curious if anyone is willing to share how much they paid for a brand new MG4 EV or what kind of deals they were able to negotiate with the dealer. Your insights would be greatly appreciated

Did mine by going through carwow first. Ended up with a different deal to what I was initially offered as I had a bit of a complicated trade in situation but think I paid about £23k for my new SE in the end.

Was offered it for a bit less originally but it ended up as more of a haggle on the trade in and they gave me £2k more on that. I was sort of going sideways from my lemon Cupra Born to the MG4. The dealer said they could do me such a good deal as they had a load of cars in stock from a cancelled fleet order. Also, that group owned a Cupra dealership so they could sell it internally rather than sell it on trade.

I’ve used car wow before and wouldn’t even consider buying a new car without going through something like that first.

May 2024 MG4 SE SR £22587 via Affinity scheme - includes a £1000 test drive discount as well.

Online search will show that price - and the £800 extra for the metallic red is waived in the Affinity scheme. I suppose I should add the £50 MGOC membership fee

I checked online prices e.g. carwow and they could not match the Affinity price.

If you are not eligible for Affinity as eligible employee, then you need to be e.g. MGOC member for 3 months, and the Affinity prices are only valid for 3 months i.e. you need to join the MGOC not knowing what the price will be, and wait - for me start April - for that quarter's price to be declared, then order if happy.

If you're a cash buyer Affinity is the way to go. If buying on PCP then Carwow saved me £1850 off an XPower with premium paint.The reason being the APR is lower on new vs Affinity (or used).

Yes, Affinity is a good deal if you are paying cash. Beware though that if you want to finance the interest rates are typically higher on Affinity so it may not be worth it.
