After a tire blowout on the autobahn I managed to get a tow truck after 4 hours in the pouring rain.
The poor fellow struggled tremendously trying to remove the hubcaps on his flat bed tow truck
so he could strap it down through the wheel rims.
After getting to the tire shop the experienced mechanic showed me how to pull off (they ARE simply pulled off) these hubcaps, which are very stubborn.
The trick is to put your fingers from both hands in ONE hole, NOT in two separate holes!
They are still very stiff but you will see after removing them the logic of it considering the
way the clips are set up.
As some consolation he said Teslas are just the same!
