Hi all, phoned the dealership on Friday to ask is one of the cars mine and it is! Ordered LR on 25th October. Looking like a second week March collection.

To miaMG - Great! Thanks for that. In fact I received a message from them about 4 days ago saying that my Blue Trophy had arrived and I should be able to collect it in about a weeks time (with fresh 23 plate). Fingers crossed all goes well... Have you or are you ordering one?
Edit - just noticed that your label shows that you are already driving an MG4? Did you get it from Glyn Hopkin in Kempston?

To "mst33594" I also hope your collection goes well and you enjoy the car. May be worth keeping in touch to see how we all get on with Glyn Hopkin?

Let’s see if they honour the provision of a type 2 cable which was agreed at time of sale. I see others are getting granny cables now. I’ll post on my experience and whether the fixes have been done before delivery.

I was told that I would only get a 3 pin granny cable and not a type 2 (which would have to be ordered separately as an option)

Granny cables are fetching £150, which will easily pay for a type 2.

Just received my Santander PCP paperwork and included is the reg, chassis number and date of manufacturer, which is saying 26/10/2022. Hope some of the issues seen have been rectified at production................time will tell.

You'll know the actual date of manufacture from the compliance certificate that should be in the pouch in the glovebox.

Check for any steering vibration and a rumbling noise when you get it.
The standard (rubbish) tyres seem very susceptible to getting flat spots as the car sits in storage and on a boat.
Several owners here reported it, including me.
I fitted better all-season tyres anyway, but others have had replacement tyres or money off replacements.
If yours was built end of October it’s evidently been sitting somewhere for a while.

Glad everyone’s finally getting their cars now MG! Kempston have been a nightmare @morf i ordered a LR in the best colour going of course Holborn blue, 29th December I’ve rang them today and they said it’s off the boat so hopefully a couple weeks and I’ll be receiving it! I’ve had to ring MG several times and each time they say they’ll call me back lucky I only live around the corner so I’m pretty much a nightmare customer. I found this really good video of things to check with the mg on collection link ?

Actually, I called MG Kempston yesterday, spent 5 minutes trying to find my order, only to realise it's with Perry's Luton ?

Honestly the whole of MG is useless, not looking forward for what’s to come however I’m sure there kicking themselves in the teeth with that “7 year warranty” ?

From what I’ve read on here, the 7 year warranty has so many caviats that it’s a bit of a joke.

By the time you have taken away all the 'exceptions', pretty much the only things you are left with are the drivetrain!

Thoroughly go through this not overly excited about the wheels having 0 months warranty on them I’ve seen loads of people take the aerodynamic wheels off and the bolts for the wheels are rusty :/ I’ll be checking that before I leave the lot no wonder why they try to upswell the wheels

There’s no ‘upsell’ option on MG4 wheels.
As for wheel nuts being rusty, that’s common to most (all?) cars.
So if the nuts are visible they are covered with individual plastic caps.

Hey @bowfer i mean the bolts on the wheels being rusty on collection and the caps are just covering them over ? I don’t expect rust bolts on the wheels when it should be brand new, yes maybe I used the wrong word with upsell on the tyres I mean the 500 pound they try to add on at the end for replacement tyres and alloys
