I'm sorry but....

I used a Tesla Supercharger (Guildford) for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my MG4 Trophy. Nice and fast and cheaper than most rapid chargers.

Only issue I had was with the Tesla app on my Samsung phone. I'd installed it last year when I got the car but even though I was sat in the charging bay the app couldn't locate any Tesla chargers. Guildford are V3 so you have to use the app for non-Teslas.

I found others reporting the same issue - solution was uninstall and reinstall the Tesla app. After that it worked a treat so something to remember.

I am more grateful than most to Tesla and their Superchargers as that is, 99% my main method of charging.

When I owned a Tesla and was charging, I used to think "Look at that non Tesla driving twonk using our Superchargers"

Now, I am that Twonk ?

I really don't care what anybody else thinks of me and my MG.

When I first went to charge in Carmarthen, a Tesla driver told me I was at the wrong chargers and that mine were further down!

The photo was taken last April. The fangs only went on the day before yesterday and he hasn't left the driveway since. (We're planning on getting some Tesla juice tomorrow, so I can get new pictures.)

The sticker is for the radio station BBC Radio 3. Which my radio is more or less superglued to.

Ask 'em where the petrol gauge is so you can see how much you've put in and where you go to pay ???

Thanks Tom, you learn something everyday
I can't remember seeing that on my Trophy info version 33. I press the car icon and select the Safety tab. Will have to look again.

On our MG4, to shut down the car, you use the Safety tab to turn off the car. If you swipe down from the top, but not in the middle, the menu gives an option to turn off the menu screen. The newer version might have options to do both the car and the menu screen from that menu but we still have an older software version, and are in NZ so it may be different again.
