Oh, and I had to have the brakes/pads changed on my previous car (Ampera) and they are just brakes, like any other car, so apart from sourcing parts you could probably get your local indie to do it.

Although they are just brakes, someone on here had a garage badly work on their rear brakes and messed up the electronic braking controller, which had to be replaced, and MG weren't interested in that being a warranty claim.
