Infotainment - red battery

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a mg5 trophy, infotainment system started acting up during the recent cold weather. The battery display on the system turned red and is not displaying the percentage (but the display works fine on dash), the system also became unresponsive (not able to adjust HVAC and radio). Just wondering if anyone experienced any similar issues?

Never seen that before, but the ‘12V aux battery disconnect full HW reset’ can do wonders…

Seconded. Mine had a peculiar radio fault that didn't really bother me as I listen via Android Auto but after a while I started seeing 12V battery warnings. I think the radio fault was slowly draining the 12V when the car was turned off. Took it to the dealer who just did a reset by disconnecting the battery and all has been perfect since.
The dealer suggested that in future I do the reset myself if anything goes wrong as that is what they would always do first anyway.

No luck. Same error popped up today. Booked my car in for an investigation....
