Hopefully the right place for this:

We've made an important change to pricing across our network. From Sunday 1st September, drivers will be able to charge for 54p per kWh, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, when charging with the InstaVolt mobile app.

While this offer is initially for you, our mobile app users, we are working on extending this tariff to contactless users, aiming to complete this development before the end of the year.

As always, InstaVolt is focused on delivering reliable, ultra-rapid chargers to our customers. We have worked to bring this new off-peak tariff forward, ahead of the colder seasons and in light of the recently announced October energy price cap.

FAQs

How do I access the off-peak rate?

From 1st September, simply download the InstaVolt App and start a charge between the hours of 10pm and 6am to take advantage of the 54p/kWh rate.

Why is this only available to app users?
Due to technical integrations we’re offering this as an app only offer initially, as we’d like to share this with our customers as soon as we can. We will be extending this offer to contactless users before the end of the year.

Does the offer work if I use an RFID card?
Yes, if you use an RFID card linked to an InstaVolt app account, the off-peak offer still applies.

Can I use this offer with my Electroverse or Allstar card?
At the moment this offer is only available for users of the InstaVolt mobile app, download it

Well that's going in the right direction.
Why just the app and not the RFID card too?
A good move, I think. I've always found Insta to be fast and reliable, but too pricey - worked out better for me to use a slower but cheaper service like PodPoint.

If you expand the quote there are a few FAQs:

I think we're starting to see a bit of a price war starting... as there are more and more hubs, we can be more confident of getting a charge where we want, when we want and the Charging companies want to attract business... I noticed on my last trip up and down to Leeds, that the Gridserve chargers en route were busier than normal at the times I travel...

More power to our elbows!

Had an email from Be.EV they are also reducing price to 65p/kWh by any payment method until 'the end of spring' - no idea when that is ! Also off-peak to 55p 9pm-7am.

They are based mainly north west England but also elsewhere.

21st June, presumably. The date that all us with solar panels will be thinking about the nights drawing in ☃️ :(
That's the astronomical spring, equinox to equinox, but there is also the meteorological spring which is March, April and May. :)

For motorway speed journeys, to give a similar p/mile cost to an ICE car the charging costs need to be under 45p/kWh otherwise an EV starts to look expensive
