As we all know getting insurance at a reasonable price for any vehicle today is getting harder and harder but this video gives a few reasons why that’s the case.

Occupation is always a weird one, given that there are so many definitions of essentially the same job yet some selections give way cheaper prices. ?‍♂️

Unfortunately there's only one definition for Retired. ??

The tl;dr of that video was ... the insurance companies are shysters and are making exorbitant profits, and seem to be actively encouraging the increase in repair costs.
 
Started with a ZS Trophy 70 reg, then moved on to an MG4 Trophy 23 reg and much to my surprise the insurance went down by £80. Still expensive, but happy with that unexpected outcome!
 
My insurance renewal this July came in at £2306.00 last year £750 so went on line and got £890.
For my MG4 SE it was £320 I managed to get it down from £458 by searching the comparison sites that was fully comp obviously
 
Whilst on about ins my insurer asks if my ZS EV LR TROPHY 2022 has a tracker?
I can track my car on my iPhone through MG APP does this count as tracker,renewal just in last yr £350 this yr £379 with LV

Highly unlikely.

As you probably know there is usually a drop down box with "Approved" tracking systems and companies for you to chose from.

Rubbish I know.
