Intelligent Speed Assist, can it be permanently switched on.

I have an FY22 ZS (facelift model).

I have just discovered how to turn on the Intelligent speed assist and activate it using the button on the ACC stick (with ACC off).

However, each time the car is switched off the Intelligent Speed Assist also goes back to being Off and I have to go through the menus to turn it back on. Is it possible to keep it switched on in "intelligent" mode?

It would be better if if could stay which ever way you want it set. But If it can't I'd rather it defaulted to off rather than always be on when you switch on the car. Its not too great anyway as it loses the limit if you turn into new road and there is no sign immediately saying its eg 20 mph. It needs to link with a sat nav that keeps up to date speed limits and not just be reliant on road signs. It does not read road speeds written on the road tarmac either.

Road signs are what other drivers use who don't have sat nav.
