Two under front seats for back area and two under dash footwells. These look great! Two located under each front seat, to light up front and back areas?
How did you secure the lights under the rear seats? Two under front seats for back area and two under dash footwells.
Just between the two elasticated strips under the seat when you pull the back flap up.How did you secure the lights under the rear seats?
I've installed a similar puck light, with it's partner in reserve if we want it. I got a bunch of rechargeable AAs to keep them powered up.I just bought These Puck Lights on Amazon for cheap. They are superb for lighting up the back and they stick on.

I've always found dried gorilla glue aesthetically pleasingWith the amount of free time I have, probably a bodge job! Visible insulating tape is an acquired taste but I like the look!

Copied from my thread to close that down and continue on this one if anyone can assist?Based on another thread, but I've seen some lovely under dash lighting installed (some from the USB ports and one hardwired).
I'm trying to get some driver passenger under dash and rear under seat orange ambient lights which glow when the car is unlocked or the door is opened. I'd like them to turn off again when the door is closed if possible?
I appreciate the simplest would be to wire into a switched live (if we can find one, but probably piggybacking the USB fuse), I'm assuming it would be too much to have them on all the time whilst driving?
I'd be interested to hear if this is possible or any views on it?
I miss the days of a Haynes manual that had a full wiring diagram with all the wire colours to pull feeds from. Dunno where/if it’s possible to get these for new cars, would certainly make life easier than trying to trace wires ourselves.Copied from my thread to close that down and continue on this one if anyone can assist?
And post pictures for all your mates in the MGEV forum to follow? ?Once my piggyback fuse has arrived I’ll have a look at the door sensor to see if it’s accessible enough to pull a wire off of
I believe it's this kind staff.Found these pics on a Chinese forum.
Unfortunately, no link to the part, only mentions her husband fitted the ambient lights…
think it looks quite good.
