The 100 years theme came in the previous update.

I tried making another account, and my wife is logged in the same time as me, and can manage the app like before (like when only one person was logged in). It works, but we have to test it out more to see if any bugs occur.

With the new version there is a new theme (100 years). It is darker, and with a completely new GUI. Looks much newer, but the functionality seems to be the same. Good upgrade!

Likewise. I first just created another account on my wife's phone MG app and then allowed that account to be a secondary family account, doing this from my phone logged into the app, on the main bound account. For my main account I have always used my mobile number. For this secondary account I used my (our email). I didn't bind this new secondary account to the car but by allowing it to be a secondary family account, when I log in (on my wife's phone) it opens up connected to the car with what looks to be exactly the same set up. I just tested turning HVAC on remotely and it worked fine. A good enhancement I have to say.
