Anybody know if there is a time limit for Launch control

Seem to remember reading somewhere, use within 5 secs of the noise you hear, when following the launch procedure. Im sure someone else will confirm or amend.

yeah, it drops out after about 5s, it does the jolt again to let you know its off. I was at long lights the other day and had to reset it 3 times.

Depends what you are up against even if you give them a half second head start and without launch control, you are still going to monster most ice cars

anyone tried launch control in the wet? Hasn't rained since I got mine. I launched a Tesla 3 Peformance in the wet and it may as well have been dry, it went just as well.

But I've yet to remember to switch off ESC!

I have only ever tried with ESC left on, plus on dry roads. Don't know what the actual 0-62 time was, but it was mighty impressive!
Others will no doubt, give their opinions.

I saw a video on YT where with ESC off they obtained a 4.3, and ESC ON 3.8 sec 0-62 mph.

Maybe if you have full battery and press the accelerator at 100% it's better ESC ON and if you have less battery and parzialize at the begin it's better ESC OFF?

Dragy arrived in post and I took it with me on the way out this morning.

I will try and find a more suitable piece of road over the weekend.

I did see a 3.47 but it was invalid due to slope.

Bloody good fun though!
