From my experience so far :
- Its best to let the car warm up itself when getting in. Wait for the infotainment screen to fully start before pressing the brake to get the car into ready mode;
- Once in ready mode change the options you want for your drive (but not before) - e.g. Drive mode, One Pedal Drive, LKK off; heated sterring wheel and seats; If you do this before pressing the brake to get into ready most change back to default ! .... be warned !!
- If you get out of the car and back in, check your settings again before setting off as they tend to change back to default !;
- Sport Mode will keep the front motor on all the time, so good in slippery conditions ;
- Learn how to setup the shortcut menus on the steering wheel to your choice. I find these very useful. For me I have HVAC (ACC) setting on one and Drive modes on the other;
- Check Intelligent Battery Warming is off (unless you specifically want it on) as this can reduce efficiency a lot;
- For maximum range turn everything to ECO including the HVAC menu (with ACC off), ECO driving mode and Energy Saving mode on. This dramatacilly increase my miles/kwH and I'm sure it restricts the power.
- Don't get rattled by minor glitches, they tend to disappear next startup;
- Learn all the little glitches on this forum so you have comfort they are not just your car if/when they occur (e.g. yellow / amber power band, Apple carplay menu randomly changing from right to left, very quick warning messages appearing on startup which disappear before you have chance to read them, Ismart App not always connecting;
- Keep the front camera glass and the front radar (lower bumper) clean over winter to avoid problems.
- Check your tyre pressures regulary as the outside temperatures drops to avoid low tyre pressure warning messages, On a cold day before driving pump tyres up to around 2.5 bar
and finally enjoy the car ? ... its a great Winter Car IMO with its AWD, preheating and power to pass danger (e.g. overtakes) quickly when safe to do so.
