I thought this would be an easy task, take one out and pop the LED in. How wrong was I...
The plastics are so tightly held and the fear of breaking something!
The rear lights were simple. I took the grab handles down and carfully popped the covers off. The front was a whole nother level. I got the light cover off and struggled to get the bulbs out? When I pushed the LED replacement in, it pushed the buld holder right through and into the roof cavity!! What a very poor design, enough said about that. I now had to remove the whole roof unit to get the holder re seated. The front should come down first but I couldn't release it, it was so tight in metal clips. The back eventually gave in and few brave tugs relased it. The bulb holder simply clipped back in and the rest was a simple reassemble.
I can't find away so far on how to get the vanity mirror lights out to complete the LED conversion, any ideas?
