Left hand shortcut button not working

I hope someone can assist here.

Our MG4 EV LR came with the right hand shortcut button set for driving mode. Great, no problem there.

I have tried to set the left button to control the AC, I have gone into convenience, selected AC and it shows the controls. However, when trying to use the left hand cursor nothing happens, no response at all, nada! Any ideas please?

Only the right hand joystick controls the AC, even if you set the left shortcut for AC. Same as only the right joystick controls the media playback and volume.

The simple solution is to set left star to drive mode and right star to AC.
