Had our car now for 2 months and been perfect so far, but today I took it for its first fast charge to get us home from a long trip. Worked fine straight afterwards which I was nervous about, but then two miles from home and at 14% battery remaining I completely lost all acceleration and the car ground to a halt over a few hundred metres. No error codes or warning signs, dash looked normal and car still powered on.

I managed to get into a side road and a power off and on which brought back the drive, but has anyone else had this happen? Makes me very worried it could happen on a motorway.

Thanks,
Owen.

Did you mean rapid charge using the CCS DC connector rather than a fast EVSE at 7kWh?
When you did the charge what percentage did you start from and stop at?

Yes sorry, CCS charge from 30% up to 45%. It was an Instavolt charger but I’m not sure the charging was to blame like with more well documented issues. I took it off charge, started the car fine then moved it into a normal parking space while we ate. It then drove fine for a good 70ish miles before basically conking out.

I’ve tried searching this site and others but can’t see anyone mentioning this problem. I’ll ring the dealer tomorrow and get it booked in.

I’m ashamed to admit this but after happening again today I’ve realised the root cause…which is our 3 year old son. On the two occasions we’ve had to sit him in the front to break up the arguing he must have fiddled with the control disc. Head in hands moment of realisation and a banishment from the front.
Excellent news on a reliability front though.
