Lots of free electrons

I checked my p*dp**nt account and in the last year i have had just short of 400kWh of free electrons from them from numerous locations.
Now that seems a lot but I'm sure our Scottish friends can knock that out of the park for free.
I got to thinking though that 400 at 7.5p on Go only works out at £30. So was it really that worth it?
Then I thought about it another way, 400 at 4 m/kWh is 1600 miles....for free.
Or put another way 1600 miles at 50mpg (at the very best on a run) in my old ICE is 32 gallons which at today's prices is about £250+.

Was it worth it......HELL YEAH.

I use a combination of free charging and Octopus go faster. As an exercise, I kept track of costs and mileage in December last year, using the free chargers more than normal. 3600 miles, £32.

It's either a police stakeout or mob hitmen. They never use Morrisons though, try shopping there instead....

My usage in the last 8 months below. I'm not high miles (I've done under 6,000) so far. Not all sessions show up in my account (not sure why), so actual use is slightly higher. All I've paid for so far is:

3 home charges while I waited for my CPS card to arrive
3 rapid charges on my trip to Manchester (one seems to have gone unbilled!)
1 ChargePlace Scotland RFID card (£10)

I know it can't last forever, but while it does it's great!
