"Maintain Vehicle Immediately"

Anybody come across ""Maintain Vehicle Immediately"" popup on a brand new vehicle, when switched on, everything appears to be working, but the message is a little disconcerting.

Should anyone else discover this, it means there is a service due. Apparently the "Service Due" indicator is reset as part of PDI, however our's still wanted to be services in 2014 LOL, it can be reset yourself, in the settings on the dash. Easy Fix.

Dragonfly says its an easy fix and I've seen a YouTube showing how this could be done, but this was not for an HS which seems to have a different menu structure.
But, incidentally, it still has the 2014 problem!

It simply means that your car is past due for a service. Book it in for one.

Having the same issue and only done 300 miles from new, it went back last weekend for same issue now message coming up again

What does your next service date show as? That error would occur if it was in the past.

Hmm not sure as I didn't look but it went in for same issue last weekend and was apparently reset then

It say service due in 359 days so must be a proper issue

Hi mine is brand new and on day 3 it started coming up "service vehicle Immediately" it went back to the garage they had it for over 2 weeks it came back with exactly the same fault so not impressed. They've reset everything cleared down the old messages but it is still happening about once a week. Can't get a fix for it anywhere

Was told by AA that it was likely to be a software issue or faulty dash. MG collected car today and did a software update. Yet to drive it myself but they told me this has cleared it.

Did either of you get a satisfactory resolution to this problem? I have a brand new (March 1st) HS Trophy Phev which started displaying the same symptoms from day 3 EXACTLY like Capitalcat.

Nope! It went back to MG for a day. They did a software update. All good fora week and now started displaying warning again. Also got a warning for abnormal tyre pressure over 2 days even though all displayed correct pressure
