MAJOR MG3 HYBRID +TRANSMISSION PROBLEM

I bought MG3 hybrid + luxury (UK trophy) 3 weeks ago. The electric transmission HT-II has major problems.
Does not switch from gear 1 to the next gear 2 ( big delay ), leaving the car without power, thus under acceleration or hill climb. The engine engaged and rpm goes up to max, w/o power on the system, like a classic slipping clutch.
In hill climbs goes to limp mode and you can't speed more than approx. 40km/h, even if you push the pedal all the way down.
All these started gradually from the first 50km and became worse till now to 600km.
No indication of any fault in the panel.
I had an appointment with the Greece MG dealer, they notice the problem and after 1+1/2 hours with the diagnostic man trying on the car, inform me that the central computer of the factory does not update any diagnostic s/w for mg3 hybrid+ cars because are very new... !!!, and he can't retrieve any faulty code. Probably they will able to do it somehow on September ???!!!

Has anyone had a diagnostic check at an MG dealer ?

I had a diagnostic check at the Weston super mare MG branch as I had had a couple of quirky problems, the latest being an electrical crack sound even with the engine off, which frightened the bejesus out of me. The diagnostic found nothing, everything seemed in order. The Mechanic put his laptop on the dash to do the diagnostic and has left a scratch on the dashboard, I am furious.
Some of the problems I have had seemed to have resolved themselves or been something I had/hadn't set right. I feel bad for you, I would be tearing my hair out.

Dear GUS This is very bad…… It’s a big problem and it’s also very dangerous….
I hope that they can fix the problem fast and enjoy your new car!
There is big problem with reliability of the car and unfortunately Mg in china must take actions. I have read in other forums also again transmissions problems.

In the begging I was very excited buying the mg3 but now I definitely go to another brand maybe Toyota or Suzuki because I don’t trust the Mg. I hope that in the next years they fix the problems but until then…..
I am very sorry about that but Mg should be more careful especially with the hybrid models and these auto transmissions.

Today i receive the car from MG dealer. The problem solved. They update their diagnostic s/w and they scan in details the car. No any main fault found stored in the system. They reset all parameters to factories defaut, and in the following extend trials everything worked well. Happy End Everything Well !! Thanks all !
