Maps:
MG has replaced the inbuilt maps from the previous vendor (Tom Tom) to MapMyIndia.
Pros : Has live traffic data, inbuilt charger search (across different non MG dealer charger networks)
Cons : Trip planner doesn't work correctly. However, looks like it is fixable via software update.
I navigated from Bombay to Delhi (~1150 km), the navigation said that I need to charge at the outskirts of the city once, and I'll reach Delhi with -331% battery!
However, it did show the chargers where I needed to stop, just that the User Interface needs to be fixed to show the chargers along the route correctly.
Battery:
Battery is not defined as LFP. It is possibly a combination of Lithium, Iron, Chromium, Phosphate but it isn't a polymer.
GOM:
The GOM drops a straight 50kms if the air con is on. This is on the only available 50kWh battery pack.
