Marvel r updates ?

Yeah that correct, tesla has 4 years warranty even that is making me think to get it or not but I do want ev style car i do have mg marvel R currently. I do wanna change the car to something else. I'm thinking about tesla Y used around 2023 modle and less then 20-30k km. I have alot seen alot of ppl complain about build quality but some does and some doesn't so it seems like it depends on car i just wish they make that 4 year warranty bit longer so there isn't any thinking left when purchasing the car.

But what you really recommend to other when it comes to about tesla like how I did with mg marvel r ??? It will be really good help, good side and bad side

I think the build quality was more to do with panelgaps, they were once not that good, but nowadays to keep the hate up with that, people do milimeter measurements and complain if there are 4 mm in one side and 5 in the other side of the boot for example.

The 4 year warranty is fine for me, i come from german cars, that much like most other european cars, here only has a 2 year warranty, which is pretty poor.

A lot of the miles i drive is company miles that i get paid for, so i am setting all of these money aside and i might buy a new car (Tesla or something else) when the car is 4-5 years old, at that time i expect to have as many money in this bank account as a new car cost.

If Elon would just stop being an a$$ there is no doubt i would want a Tesla to replace it, but sadly it seems he is getting more and more unhinged, so i am not sure i will get a Tesla, when i want to change it, but as said....That's purely a Elon problem, not a Tesla problem.

The only thing i am quite sure of, is it will be an EV, the savings on basic maintenance from our previous diesel is insane and with a solar panel system on our roof, we will be able to charge both the Tesla and the ZS EV we ordered at almost no cost in the summer months.

The savings in "fuel" alone is £2000/3000 every year on those 2 cars. compared to, if we had petrol cars.

Cheaper per kilometer, no oil changes, lower road tax.

Only downside is....More expensive insurance

Ngl yeah tesla has crazy insurance true on that. Good thing about tesla is they are trying to build cheaper car so everyone could buy it. With big changes or small. In here same i don't drive to much only few 100km in long trip I only had 7k km in a year so it is pretty low. Even summer time sometime finland electric is cheap it goes to 00.00eu and but thinking of 2023 model I have seen they improve alot I'm afraid to buy new tesla Y long range when tesla juniper is in line. Elon like to play with price so much he could make new tesla Y way cheaper as before so I'm still waiting for new Y to come and decide what to do.

Yeah mine is a 2023 also, the Juniper will probably have the same awful touch indicators instead of the stalk, that could be another dealbreaker for me, about buying a Tesla in the future, i would certainly have to have a test drive in one before, to see if i could live with it.

I do know that a company called enhauto have made stalks for Highland so you will get stalks in the Highland and probably also Juniper when it is released.

If i were able to wait i would probably go for the Juniper, it seems most of the 2023 and 2024 MY is HW3.0, the Juniper and Highland is HW4.0 and now there are already features that has not been released for 3.0 but has for 4.0, for example the FSD part, the latest version 13 is not available for HW3.

So expect the 3.0 cars to start not getting everything the 4.0 cars have....I have the MY with the Ryzen chip for infotainment, they changed to that a few years back, and before that, they had an older Intel Atom, there are already several features that the Intel cars will not get, that the Ryzen does.

Ideally i would wait a few years, if for no other reason, to wait for HW5.0 and the Ryzen successor for the infotainment and since i already have a Model Y, i have time to wait.

But...Stalks and/or Elon might be a dealbreaker.

There have been software an ccu updates : first software release R18, then R19, then R23, then R24 and last one R32. Last CCU (comunicati module of the battery) update i had makes possibile to charge at SUC Tesla.

I have tesla Y for few weeks now, in that few weeks I got 4 updates already some new features and some minor bug fixed. In mg marvel r having that car for 1 years 0 updates and even chagring I nocited in mg I put battery heating to make fast charging high it never works even after 1h - 30min. In tesla I just put charging in css it takes 80kwh and chagres quick then my shopping

Even had 3 services at MG auto dealer, still no update.

What is wrong with MG? My wifes Volvo C40 electric has updates every second month to improve the car.

Never a chinese car again.

Mg forget about that car, is like giving a candy to kid and forgetting about it. That's the reason I even changed my car to tesla Y 2023 model AWD, well I had a small reason with dear also but. I have tesla for almost a month and I already got 4 updates with minor fix. Plus chagring fast and better software app it has 0 delay. It was like sky to ground when I compare the app with mg app.

Even the price has dropped, in Eu even MG dealer he said ones MG marvel R has alot of complains which MG team is ware of but they will not do anything cuz it is a old car now. No doubt MG marvel is good looking car from outside to inside but mg should really work on there system and update which car needs. Even the daily basis system were pain in ass

R24 here as well but going in for 3rd service next month so will report back.

At my dealer in Norway I have to pay about 3500nok ( 300 euro) to upgrade from r23 to r32 on my performance unless there is something wrong with the vehicle. Is this normal? If I had known I would have to pay for updates I would never bought the car.

Fan also broken on mine so had it replaced also.

Did replace rear shock also around 1 month ago.

Soon the contract is over and car is getting back to the seller.

MG won't see me for a long time, they need to up their game and stop using us as test pilots for their rubbish cars.

I have been owning tesla Y 2023 Awd for 2 months than compare to mg this car is best only annoying is mg wad so silent car and tesla isn't that much
