On switching car on this morning I got this message on the infotainment screen.

Where is the SD card?

I’ve dismissed on this occasion.

Satnav still working.

Message hasn’t reappeared on any further journeys in car.

Anyone else had this message?

I've not had anything like that. Can't see any slot for an sd card. So not sure why it's giving that message.

If that message originated from the car, it doesn't sound like anything user actionable.

If you are using Apple Carplay or Android Auto, then the message will be coming from the phone, referring to the SD card (if any) inserted into the phone.

On a quick search, iGO doesn't seem to match the car's navigation, and MG seems to use NaviExtras, which doesn't seem to be the same as iGO. But the MG3 Hybrid+ may be different.

As far as I know and after checking Mr Google, Navietras and IGO are both products from NNG, and the screen shots of the 3d view on the website, match those in the MG3 Hybrid manual. The message might be just from a glitch in the system.

From memory I think I also got this message a month or two ago.
Obviously SATNAV continues to work well.

I think it's a VERY LATE system response to the software update done by the dealer at some point.

I can confirm and reiterate what I said earlier: SATNAV is basically an IGO version of LUNA and having used this GPS system on an Android version and another car, I can only say that this is the guarantee of a very good version of GPS guidance.

Coming back to the warning message displayed, this is a warning about the software licence that has been incorrectly loaded by the system.

But it could also be that the phone made a version query and detected that there is a new version of map data
Sounds plausible, but the OP said he doesn't use Apple Car Play and that the phone wasn't plugged in.
