MG HS automatic braking turning on

Hi, new here. I have a 2021 MG HS, and I turn automatic braking off on it. It has now turned it on four times without warning. This has actually given me whiplash because it is so paranoid, then made it worse twice now but doing the same thing. Is this a unique to me problem or a common issue? Is there any way to make it go away?

Mine refused to allow me to overtake a bicycle on a country lane recently. Just threw the anchors on as I pulled out to go past. The sensors are not designed for our overgrown verges. Previous car was a Tiguan which also had over enthusiastic emergency braking which would put the car into a skid!
