MG iSmart App

Hi everyone,

Did any of you managed to connect the app to the car,? On youtube, I’ve seen that EHS is also compatible, but it asks for the QR code on the car’s frame (which I am not able to find).

If any has a way of pairing the app, please let us know. And also, is there a way to preheat the car through the app? (winter is coming ?).

Are you sure the European EHS has the required hardware, I know the UK HS version doesn't.

Hardware is not in European version. Only Thailand and China. Not sure about Australia.
Wonder if retrofit of Hardware is an option?

I have a MG HS PHEV in Thailand. The car has a 4G Data SIM card imbedded in the car. I believe it is needed to communicate with the iSmart app on your phone. I am able to switch on the aircon in the car when many hundreds of meters away in the middle of a shopping center, so it definitely isn't a Bluetooth connection.

Indeed. Many cars come with days enabled comms module - all Nissan Leafs sold worldwide have SIM

So sad to read that the EHS doen't have the ability to connect to MG iSMART App. If somebody has a solution for this I gladly would like to hear this

I am Italian, owner of a MG EHS, and the person who gave me the car told me that the Ismart application would be available within the year ... At this point I don't believe it then ...
