Thanks for that David. Just updated from Play (not from the app) and it seems to have sorted it out. Let's hope voice control is also sorted soon.
Yep can confirm all working as expected this morning...I have just installed the app update ( version 14 Dec 2022) and it appears to have sorted this issue out. The vehicle is now recognised as electric and shows a view / screen that you would expect. Not actually used it but looks hopeful![]()
BTW if you want the latest copy of the user and navi manuals you can get these by downloading these using the latest ismart app. Once downloaded search your device for a folder something like
Android/data/com.saicmotor.iov.europe/files/Download/
All Mg cars use the same folder.
In this folder you will see two pdf files. Just copy them somewhere convenient and you can open on Desktop, laptop, tablet etc. with something like Adobe reader. The pdf has a selectable navigation menu .
That’s the pre-facelift manual (battery types 1 and 2 are a giveaway, the facelift only has Long Range).Just found this............
Maybe I’m wrong then…but no idea why it would say battery type 1 and 2 then. Also no mention of V2L…Strange - I obtained the manual under the MG5 facelift version............ at

I think the reason there are two battery types is they have said they will release an SR version at some point.Maybe I’m wrong then…but no idea why it would say battery type 1 and 2 then. Also no mention of V2L…
Did the pre facelift support V2L?
