Can anybody tell me how to get miles travelled in the above vehicle, to show on the instrument panel.
The manual picture of dials shows it as item 6 in the picture but it is not showing when driving.
The only time I can see it is by using the right hand < > buttons on the steering wheel, it does not show permanently on dashboard .
Is it meant to be like this?

Yes, this is the first car i have owned, where the odometers have not been either a seperate gauge/display or been displayed as a fixed part of the instrument cluster.

That's how mine is, though the picture you show is how I have mine displayed when I'm driving, so the odometer is always shown anyway
I have it on this screen t keep an eye on M/KWh

On mine it starts up with the screen with the car, showing if cars are in front, if lane markings are detected.

I can switch to that screen, if i press left button once, but after some time it will default back to the other screen, i have not found a way to make it default at startup, and i have not found a way to have it be the default screen for when i drive.

Which left button is that please?

It's the direction controls on the steering wheel. Press the left arrow and it goes to the mode where it looks like a drunken UI designer had an off day.

Left and right arrows on steering wheel will move No.3

Car is for mileage and power
Radar is default for MG pilot
! Is for any warnings and tyre pressures
Cog is to change dash brightness

I love the way the diagram doesn't even bother to mark up the regen level as the icon is so small you can't even fit an arrow in there to point at it
