Is there away way that you can watch YouTube or any thing while charging the car? And if you are charging the car with fast charging or slow charging can you use A/C to make car chill to be inside ?

Yes. Then you connect it either by WiFi ( to the car, your phone or a hotspot) or you can insert a 4g Sim card and run it independently - like I do. You can download any App you want to the device - even IPTV.

i'm also considering buying this carlink for my Marvel, i have an android phone and just hate how tiny the display becomes with the original wired android auto, was wondering if u tried connecting wireless android auto and how it shows up on the carlink, if it utilizes all the screen and not just the top half. thanks in advance

You can put A/C on while charging. If you leave the car, you can put it on in mobile app. If you stay in car, just put the car ON and you can use A/C.

No, i did not use the wireless function of the Carlinkit, I always used a USB cable.

I'm considering buying the Carlinkit TBox Plus for my Marvel R. In your experience, has the responsiveness of the UI been better than with the stock wired android auto?

The screen size is amazing but I would like it to be more responsive. It usually just lags on every touch, pinch to zoom in and out of maps is almost impossible with two fingers..

I'm just wondering if this product helps solve this somehow!

I would not say it is any faster than Android Auto. I mainly use mine for IPTV streaming for sports. I am happy with the standard Marvel mapping so I don't use it for that.

Hello @fvd,
I can say that the Carlinkit AIBox-Plus is a higher level in terms of resolution and the ability to download and run all Android applications. But it is not faster. For me the Marvel R system works fine, it is not the best and the most speedy in the world, but it is fine.
I don't use Android Auto, i don't need it anymore.

I have downloaded and used the HERE WeGo: Maps & Navigation in my Carlinkit AIBox-Plus as extra Nav. for the wonderful standard Marvel R Nav. mapping (Iam also happy with it). You can use it offline also with double click finger to zoom in and out and many other options.
