MG Motor Brive-la-Gaillarde Groupe Peyrot - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

I have had my MG4 for just over a year, after a ten month wait. The car arrived then sat on the forecourt for a week without our knowledge and then for another two weeks at 100% SOC (nmc battery) whilst the dealer had his holiday. Eventually took ownership of it and luckily it has proved to be problem free to date. From the onset it was urged upon us the importance of the service schedule and so duly six weeks before the due date tried to book it in ,the online booking form proved to be useless even though it said they would get back to us ??? Phone calls were not answered , eventually went into Brive to arrange a rendezvous to be told that the only dates were beyond the time limit and I should have contacted them earlier ? . A second visit later in the week and I was given a date that was satisfactory. Turned up for the appointment and the service was performed ?????? The car had 5000 kms on it but they give it a part 2 year service unnecessarily changing the pollen filter. When I pointed this out on the receipt I was told that in France it was an annual change:( I asked the for the stamped and signed service report which they denied to give me as well as refusing to stamp the service booklet citing it was all on line and I could access it there through the I smart app , which of course has proved impossible. I have been back two more times to access my service report only to be given the cold shoulder and glib excuses, and a confession that the computer was not working and no diagnostics could be done on the day of the service even though I paid the full amount and more for the full service. I have no idea what has been put onto the MG digital database regarding my vehicle and what consequences that may have in the future.
I am dreading anything going wrong with the car and needing work as the dealer told me that the workshop does not have any MG trained mechanics on site for any warranty work , and any work done would most likely be over an extended period of time. All in all , not impressed.
