Yes I enjoyed driving my son’s pickup in California for the last couple of months. It’s a Ram Rebel 5.7 litre V8 automatic with fairly aggressive off road tyres, sand ladders and spare gas / petrol cans. It came in extremely useful ?‍♂️ for Granddaughter and I to visit the zoo, wild animal park, sea world, LA museums, mount Laguna observatories etc, etc. Every evening, on the way home we stopped and filled the tank - again ?!
Then son and I drove his boss’s Ram diesel dual rear wheel truck 3300 miles to Sturgis, South Dakota to deliver a pair of Harley Davidson motorcycles to the massive HD rally there. That used a wee drop of diesel but we had the boss’s credit card - thank goodness ?
An MG pickup could be fun - if it was electric ?

I thought it looked like a Maxus (which they were practically giving away on lease a few months ago - Modern Heroes got one and gave it a pretty scathing review), but isn't that an exhaust pipe under there?

He was quite scathing about it on Twitter, for various faults including range and I think only being single motor. It's a while since I watched the video though. They were leasing them at some really silly price like £90 a month, which is why he got one.

Looks like a great idea with very poor design thrown in. A front and rear motor, rear motor mounted to the chassis to improve the unsprung weight issues and the "tailly" feel an unloaded ute has ..... add a decent battery capacity to match the weight .... might need the Aussie touch, didn't we make the "ute" in the first place ;)
