Hi all

I got my ZS EV back in Oct 2020. Ever since then, the android auto connectivity to my andoid phone has been intermittent. I have a Huawei P30 Pro (android 10).
I have taken it into the dealership to have it checked out. Been told there is nothing wrong with the infotainment system. I am using the original cable to connect the phone.

Anyone else have this issue and have a resolution to it?

Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

thanks

Have a search on the forum, been discussued a few times. Would say us the orignal lead, but as you are doing that, try a 50p lead, or as some have stated use anker cable.

@mystreet thanks for the suggestion, I have tried the 50p leads as well. It just seems to work somethimes and not the others. Never works as soon as i get in the car, but if i try say after about 15mins of driving it might work. Really bizzare.

I start the car, get myself nice and comfortable, then plug the phone in and connect to AA, works everytime for me (hope I haven't jinxed it!)

is there any amount of time you wait before plugging in your phone?

It is only about 15 seconds I suppose,

Get in, press the start button, put seltbelt on, info screen up and music playing, usually DAB, plug the phone in and press the AA 'button'.

Did notice today that the button flashes very quickly when connected.

Into drive and off I go

My USBc cable I have to sometimes remove turn 180 and put back in...then the androidauto works
