This is what I liked about my 5 series plug in hybrid. It would display a warning on the dash that the charge flap was still open. Used to annoy me that I would forget to close it because it was on the passenger side of the car too haha.
Wonder how difficult it would be to wire a small switch on the flap to an LED in the cabin which would illuminate when open if the ignition was on.
