Yes the left is for the parking brake and the right is for auto hold. See page 199/200 in the car manual.

The problem is that if you are on any sort of slope the park button does not release automatically and smoothly when you press the accelerator . Sometimes you lurch forward or backwards depending whether you are in D or R.
It really is a pain in the arse.

The problem is that if you are on any sort of slope the park button does not release automatically and smoothly when you press the accelerator . Sometimes you lurch forward or backwards depending whether you are in D or R.
It really is a pain in the arse.

You have to learn to press the accelerator incrementally until the car is happy there is enough power to overcome gravity...then it releases.... Find a quiet spot & experiment with it ??
