That's great! If possible after you collect it, it'd be great to know what ship it came in on. Just trying to work out how long cars are sitting at Portbury before they're transported. My dealership just told me my car has arrived at the showroom and is being prepared.

I was told it had arrived at the beginning the week at BristolThat's great! If possible after you collect it, it'd be great to know what ship it came in on. Just trying to work out how long cars are sitting at Portbury before they're transported.
Almost identical. Ordered through Tusker salary sacrifice, trophy LR in black, Jan 17th I think it was. Was always told mid May and it still says that on my order page online. MG have said August though.I placed my order for the Trophy Long Range in January through a lease company (work scheme). At the time they said the delivery was early June, since then it’s slipped to early September. This might be a generic lead time but I’d be keen to see if anyone else here who ordered around the same time has been given similar times or gets theirs earlier. Still very excited for it to arrive - fell in love after the test drive!

Totally in the dark
Didn't even test drive it to be fair, just loved it and used a Kona through work and loved that too.
When did you place the order, and model/spec is it?My dealership just told me my car has arrived at the showroom and is being prepared.
That would be the Iguazu Highway I watched steaming up the Bristol Channel on Tuesday morning then. So that's 4 days from dockside to dealership, not bad.I was told it had arrived at the beginning the week at Bristol
In your situation, I’d be inclined to look at a 2nd hand gen 1?When I buy something it's because I want it or need it. I do the research and go and get it. This MG is for my wife who needs to replace her aging Suzuki petrol engined car. We have solar panels so free fuel and even far cheaper fuel steered me towards electric.
I loved the spec of the facelifted MG ZS EV Trophy and the wife thoroughly enjoyed her test drive. However, order placed January with expected delivery April 25th was a bitter pill to swallow. But now it's been extended to God knows when. Will the car ever arrive? Nobody even knows that.
So now I've gone back to the drawing and am looking at the tiny few ex-demonstrator LR Trophys that are creeping onto the market, and even less than a year old low mileage MG ZS EV Exclusive models. Sure I know the range is far less but my wife would only very rarely hot 100 miles in any return trip. We live in Northern Ireland, so can't travel far til we get to the edge.
I want to buy a car that's actually in the showroom and can drive away within a week.
Haven't cancelled my order just yet though. Still watching shipping updates with everything crossed ?
I spoke to my dealer this week and he said they have paused ZS EV orders too. Mine has been pushed back to end august for a jan order. My dad has ordered an ev mg5 and they have said 8 month wait.Perhaps this is why they have stopped taking orders for the petrol model as of March to ensure that they can increase the production of the EV’s and have changed their production timetable for the quarter. Hence them saying some may be here shortly. It’s all surmising though.
I got told the same.I emailed the MG
call centre and quoted my 10 digit order number and received this today. Order for Trophy placed 15th Jan and original due on Monday 25th April
I mean if that’s nationwide and not just your dealer then hopefully that means they can fulfill the existing orders before accepting new orders and those getting cars first although they ordered after others. Whilst I’d love my new car now, part of me would feel bad if I got it before others, probably as it was ingrained in me to wait my turn in the queue. ?I spoke to my dealer this week and he said they have paused ZS EV orders too. One of the first to order in NovemberAmazing news, when was the order?
I’m pleased for all who ordered in November/December. It’s good news they’re starting to arrive. Hopefully a few more get a call shortly. One of the first to order in November
Won’t matter to me, dealership is going to fit my private plate when it turns up…when..Latest update - mine is due to arrive on 22nd Aug... Personally I wouldnt mind a bit of slippage to that so it ends up on a 72 platelol
