12/4/22 'now expecting your car in August 2022. However, it is incredibly difficult for MG to give us an accurate date therefore the aforementioned date is to be taken as a guide, your car could arrive earlier or later.'
TODAY: 'I have checked your car status this morning and the car has now been built and boarded a ship on its way to Portbury. The system shows the 16th July but this can change depending on the progress the ship makes.'

Looks great - I have ordered the same colour (but not the Connect version) - hope I don’t have to wait too long!! My electrician is currently in the garage, installing my charger……it will be good when I have something to plug into it!

Nothing, we ordered early March and have never heard anything, I emailed them a while back and got a September date but not holding my breath .?

Just got a message from Vanarama saying they will update us next regarding delays with MG orders. September deadline could further be extended ?

I think if I was a Vanarama customer I'd be seriously thinking about cancelling.

I think they are hoping that too. They will have 400 cars at old prices that they can lease at higher rates now.

Just out of spite I will not cancel it now. Got my old diesel workhorse for now till this turns up but i have given hope now

Had a call for Vanarama today, Said they have had no contact from MG at all and that they have now put it up to another department to start chasing them up as he confirmed it was 400 cars.

It will come when it comes, And as Ash said, My deal is 3 months down(£750) £250 cashback and one year free insurance at 10,000 miles a year for £260 a month, I'm not cancelling that as much as they would like me too, They would even probably swallow the loss on the charger considering the same deal now without the cashback, Or insurance, And £1100 up front will cost you £370 a month.

What really annoys me is they said exactly the same thing two weeks ago and the dealer they use mentioned Jan 2023 rather than September so either they already know and waiting for us to cancel may be because they over committed or oversold

Mine started with 16 weeks time to a year and prob more

I emailed vanaram just after I replied on this thread and they replied with they are still on a September delivery date for our March orrder. That’s the info they have from their dealer.
