Mine is also 300007xxxx but no news yet. Ordered end of January 22

I spoke to them yesterday, they have a lot on order. Mine though a May order is supplied against their original November order as I expect yours will be. They are supplying cars in the order placed irrespective of what MG are suggesting. The caveat of course is correct model & colour. He did hint that there's a chance you might be able to switch colours. As far as LR Trophy in red is considered I am no. 5 so you should be higher in that list with any luck & the wind behind you!

Just had a call from my dealer to say my car is on a ship, due approximately 21st November. Very excited!!

Yes. Ordered on 8th February. I guess if there’s a strong wind from China, it might be here sooner than expected! ??
Sorry, edited to say 8 months from order to shipping, but 9-10 months to delivery.

So emailed MGUK with the following….”can someone please tell me, why my car is on shortage TBA ordered number 300008**** l mean it’s only been 10 months, was told April at the very latest, I’m way past that and the way things are looking I will be lucky if I see it before January 23 as MG now seem to have switched to building the MG4 and shipping them to the UK and forgetting about your old customers still waiting on the sidelines for there ZSEV..I guess I’ll get the old cut and paste reply from yourselves that everyone else seem to get”

Regarding your vehicle ordered 300008**** we can confirm it is still on shortage awaiting factory build, unfortunately we cannot provide an ETA at this stage and delivery ETA varies by car spec, however once the car is built, the delivery ETA can be anytime. We would recommend you to liaise with your purchasing dealer ba ba ba..

so they told me nothing I didn’t know..

and if they have a 42 week lead time, my car needs to be built next week, as it’s week 36 now, so a week to build it,( week. 37) 3 weeks on a ship to the UK,(week 40) two weeks at dock/dealers (week 42)…now do I believe that’s going to happen, yes as much as I believe in the tooth fairy…

Would be interesting to know exactly what order these are being built in. I bet they do a short straw/lucky draw and post it on the car and the lucky winner for this months ZS is ....

I would be interested as well, but feel it would be a waste of time emailing MGUK again, as I think they know as much as the dealership, which is nothing..
