Still waiting for my Black LR SE. Ordered 21/12/2021 through Octopus. Been told it's been built and awaiting transport. I hate you MG, I really do.

My black ZS LR in black was ordered in July 22. Landed off the ship in Bristol on 5th Sept. Since then it has been in a finance black hole where the lease company and Santander both blame each other for the paperwork. Calls and emails to both of them haven’t made any difference.

Santander are shocking wouldn't use them again after the show they gave me I've kicked off to there underwriters to have al search history removed from them

Well we’ll we’ll after reading several of you have had notification about up and coming delivery of silver car, I decided to give my dealer a call today who up to now has been hopeless with any type of communication about my order.
The gentleman said he would find out what he could and get back to me , we’ll we have all heard that one before.
I had just about gave up on him and a hour half later a call back to say he believes my car is on a ship with a estimated delivery of 3 weeks, now I hear everyone saying we’ve heard that before.
He has put a note on my file to chase up more info next week as Insaid I was disgusted of the lack of picking up a phone in 10 months )( ordered beginning of January) yes it seems the dealer has limited info from MG but nothing wrong with a 5 minute call every 2 months to say we haven’t for got about you.
As soon as I have more info will post hear, fingers crossed I will have my car before Xmas. Car ordered MG ZS EV long range trophy in monument silver with sun roof ?

Good luck, hope you get it soon. This is starting to give me hope that I may see the TCLR in Silver which I ordered in March.

I'm super happy for you! It seems your wait may nearly be over. Did you find out it was awaiting transport via MG or via Octopus?

I think mine would be, but I found cancelled order, maybe worth seeing if you can find one, I got exact model and colour, but if you're slightly flexible it might help.

The problem I have is I am waiting for a car on Octopus Salary Sacrifice, so if I cancel that and look for a cancellation my monthly fee literally doubles.

Which they have just delayed by another 3 months, now estimated feb to April 2023 (I ordered march 2022 Silver TCLR) and I only found out by checking the octopus tracker, no courtesy email from them or anything.

Contacted the MG dealership sorting my ZS LRTC order from Novuna and they have said the vehicle is now on the boat. Hoping that it’s going to be this side of Christmas. Ordered early December last year and my original estimate moved forward and forward and was last April 2023 to early Dec 22 so this is hugely welcome although I don’t want to hold my breath. Can anyone from recent orders in the last few weeks guesstimate how long it was in transit to dealer? Or a list of boats to get excited about tracking? Mines going to Portsmouth. Crossing every finger and toe (gently) ?

I was notified on 6th October that my car was on a boat, and expected around 21st November. I don’t have it yet, but the dealer phoned on 3rd November and said that “I definitely will have it this month”. I should have asked him if that meant it had ‘landed’.
It would have been interesting to have had the name of the boat, but I don’t think anyone has been given that information.

Thanks Susanna. Fingers crossed for you too! I think some people have posted a couple of lists of the boats incoming from the MG manufacturing port l they use to the UK import port so it’s a complete guess anyway if it’s even on those. The MG dealer didn’t seem to know any more than ‘it’s on the water’ and will only get a next update notice when the barcode/QR is scanned on arrival.

I got a call from Octopus on Friday where they offered me the MG4… at a monthly higher price than the ZS EV I’ve been waiting almost a year for.
After the call I realised that I’m starting to get the impression that they want people to cancel/change car so they can lease my ZS EV for a significantly higher sum than I’m currently contracted to pay.

I ordered beginning of May after ordering a petrol one in january. They forgot to cancel the petrol one and it arrived last month, so 9 month wait. I turned down the offer to accept the petrol one. He said he’d ordered the ev, ill know if its got the panoramic roof!!!
I’m just going to wait, it'll turn up one day!

Your May order will have the sunroof as July 1st was announced as date for change of spec cut off point.
