speaking to uk sales they think just model y for now as china is already established with the model 3. They are expecting to serve model y Europe demands through Berlin for now. Later on may be making the new model x and s. But nothing is certain.

I was under the impression all RH drive Y's were coming from China

I saw all the delays on here so didn't bother checking with my dealer until last week via email but heard nothing back. Then yesterday out of the blue got the call saying its here.

Saw my first new ZS EV in the wild today (in Cheshire)!
Red, 22 plate EV, not sure what spec but looked very nice as it drove past

We all should consider........for everyone of us on this forum commenting about delays, lack of communication etc etc. There will be countless others not on this forum, up the queue and down the queue, who will undoubtedly be equally as frustrated. There are delays across the whole motor industry and across other sectors and industries too. It's something we can't change, we just have to wait our turn. What the delays do is allow for an extended cooling off period, concentrate the mind and may be think about other options.

There are no comparable alternatives at this price point though, especially not for the LR version.

Lovely car, very impressed when I collected it yesterday, however….100 miles into our journey home went to top up the charge and this happened. Taxi for us home another 100 miles and car back to dealer. Hopefully a quick fix. Must say seats were comfy sitting in them for 4 hours waiting for recovery. AA said they had exactly the same issue the day before, Maybe coincidence but both were gridserve charging points so beware.

Unfortunately the car was completely switched off

I hope it gets sorted quickly for you. Be interesting to know what the issue was as it's cases like that that don't inspire confidence.

Can I assume that this happen when you attempted to collect a charge and it then failed to do so. Then when you tried "Booting Up" the car again, it displayed the error we see in your photo ??.
A failure to commence the charge, then the error message I guess ?.
Would the car still drive even with the error ?.

Advice I have heard is unplugging the 12v battery and plugging it back after 5 min but still it's only curing a symptom not a problem

Did the AA try the disconnecting the 12V neg terminal, waiting 15 mins then reconnecting again trick?

That’s exactly what happened and once error appeared car wouldn’t go into drive.
