We ordered our MG LR in silver in February 22 from Wilsons in Epsom, Surrey.
We have just been contacted by the MG dealership who have advised me that all production of all MG's have been stopped. They have offered me a refund of the deposit as they cannot say when the car will be delivered, and advised that it could be another year, or longer. If you have ordered an MG I would suggest you contact your MG dealership.

Is this because Shanghai is in lockdown again?

I really don't get this at all. There are still Nov Dec orders outstanding and later orders are receiving there's. Absolutely nothing against the individual customer. I'm happy your getting your car but wtf is going on??

I was told at the start of the month they were expecting it by the end of May. I wasn’t hopeful as the date had changed several times.

Probably a mixture of dealer allocation and cancelled orders.

As your in Scotland I doubt my order affects yours, good luck I hope yours comes through soon!

I'm just a little south of you in Co.Durham, I ordered Black Trophy LR which was a Dealer Stock Order assigned to me on the 1st Dec 21. Currently told there is no build date and can only hope for delivery Sept-Dec. I secured the £2500 Grant and was given a very good Px Value and its a cash purchase. I note you originally ordered Silver Trophy LR in Feb 22 can you or anyone explain this logic.
I'm currently about to cancel this Order as I have been promised an SR for next week from Crawley Group Burnley.
