MG ZS EV Sim Card Battery??

I think leaving a bluetooth adapter plugged in to the OBDII port also may leave the car open to hacking.

There is that possibility but the data side of the obd does seem to shut down more worrying is the car seems to have its own extra Bluetooth feed

Okay OBD has been removed, less that 24hrs and no remote control, I'll post voltage once I've been in car.

Edit: Voltage was 12.2 when I switched car on, but dropped pretty much instantly to 12v.

Had this happen a few more times, more frequently in the cold snap, than the slightly warmer weather we've had for the last few days. Battery always around 12v, when I get into car though, where as when the app works, it is usually 12.5v or more.

New development though, if this does happen it is worth trying to turn the AC on even though the status check has failed. Twice now I have had the app report a fail for both the status check and the AC, however the AC has come one, which in turn has topped up the 12v battery, and got the system working again.

I'd say the server that powers the updates threw a wobbly with commands yesterday as I lost all connection to the car for about 45 minutes. Then everything started working fine again.
