Understand your comments. Yet I do have a point of view on SW updates at dealers and charging of Labour hours. Any smart Dealership would get their technician to start the update and then will move on to do something else while the SW is uploading. The restrictor to this would be the number of diagnostics machines (Laptops / computers) the dealership have.

I come from a background where I did warranty negotiation for an automotive Tier 1.

Anyway, my ramble is 'off topic'
Perkins I presume?

Since Tesla Superchargers are CCS and compliant to the European-wide CCS standard it is mind-boggling why any car manufacturer selling EVs with CCS charging as stipulated under EU regulation should be able to single out one charging provider, ie Tesla, and say it is an "Upgrade" rather than a "Fix" to update the car's software to make it work with a CCS charger. It is not an upgrade if the car can only work with some CCS chargers when other manufacturers EVs and in fact other MG's work with all CCS chargers whatever the brand.

Does anyone know what errors it shows when it refused to charge in the Tesla charger? It would help defining the issue for future readers.

I don't think it is true to say "Most" other car makers do OTA updates. Yes Tesla lead the way on this but Tesla built thir system to do OTA updates ground up from day one. Most other carmakers are legacy carmakers and have a vested interest in keeping work flowing through thei workshops. The push is going to come from new entrants into the market and start-ups (particularly from China) who havent a legacy dealer network in place throughout the territory and they will build in OTA updates as an important feature of their offering to give early adoptors of these new unfamilier car brands confidence to buy knowing there is a means of supporting them and their new EV.
Xpeng does it, Polestar does it, Volvo does it, GM does it and even VW which is the embodiment of legacy car makers seems to have OTA updates.

And even more brands like Audi, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Mercedes, Nissan, Stellantis (Vauxhall, Peugeot, Cooper, Jeep etc.) and Toyota seems to be doing at least Infotainment updates.

The car makers have an interest in getting their cars through the workshop yes, but they just find new ways of doing it....Like MG, that has "Brake fluid change" every 2 years, which is very excessive, but when they can't do oil changes and so on, they just change brake fluid instead, even though it's really not needed that often.
