MG3 Hybrid+ On Order

Hello,
Look forward to getting my Trophy model in white in June :)

Has anyone else got one on order ?
I received my MG3+ Trophy on Monday 3 Jun 24 and its already been to the garage twice, we found out today that we will not be getting it back due to the fault can not be located (Engine Fault, Battery Fault, Braking Fault, Regenerating braking reduced, engine emissions fault the list goes on) it was good for the first 51 Miles. I hope that we just had a bad car and the new one will be ok.

Pretty dreadful, with that many faults it almost sounds like a faulty 12V battery.
Fortunately it seems on the whole from the forum at least, the cars are pretty reliable, so I'm sure the next one will be problem free.
Whilst I've been scathing of late regarding MG UK, at least they are replacing the car, other manufacturers could well ask you to wait while they sorted the problems out.

I thought the Friday car was a thing of the past now that cars are mostly built by robots, but i guess not. Hope you enjoy your new newer car.

That's unfortunate. Please keep us posted on what, if any, more information you get on the actual fault so other owners can be aware of it.

Yes that is the only english video test review i have seen so far, strange.. hopefully more will follow very soon.

Is yours a factory build? Might be a chance of getting 60/40 rear seats as apparently they are going to rectify their oversight.
I've just ordered a MG3 HYBRID for end Sept/Oct delivery & asked about the split rear seat issue .

Was told that car was built & in ship transport so highly unlikely that modification on seats has been carried out !.

Further to that I asked about a rear passenger courtesy light is also missing on UK specs but is added in some other countries .

While I'm on a roll , why the old fashioned bonnet pole instead of hydraulic ones ?.

Lachie .

I’ve got an MG4 myself at the moment but I was at my local dealer recently & saw one, I really like the look of it inside & out.

Dealer told me as well at that time orders for the MG3 Hybrid were almost double of all other MG models combined, it’s going to be very popular, well here on the Isle of Wight at least

Hope you enjoy ??

I also live in NW London (Harrow), I got my Trophy with metallic paint (Battersea blue) from Glyn Hopkins Mill Hill for £18,900 at the beginning of May. Although that did include a £750.00 finance incentive.
A word of advice, be prepared for a long lead time with any of the MG dealers for service/warranty work, all the dealers seeminglyin South England are over booked with work. I have an Engine Emissions fault and Glyn Hopkins (and they are one of the largest MG chains in the UK) call centre told me the first available date for Mill Hill to look at it was the 2nd October! Fortunately their St Albans branch had availability next Thursday, and more surprisingly also could offer me a courtesy car albeit for £35.00. Every other dealer either didn't answer the phone or were busy well into September...

Heard of Engine Emissions fault before. Some one said after filling with fuel make sure the filler cap clicks when tightning. After a few hours the emissions corrected.
