Mg3 steering wheel favourites

Hi MG3 driver's

Just wanted to capture your steering wheel favourites based on your actual driving style.

Currently mine are
1. Left: camera always parking at the shops, etc need the camera to get the perfect angle and why not never had a 360 camera ? just quick to activate
2. Right: still on air con. I know a lot of YouTube reviews moan no physical buttons. But once its set I don't touch the HVAC so currently under used. My son's Citroen, my friend Honda had touch buttons for HVAC not sure what the fuss is about nit picking I feel?

Thinking of switching RH to regen but city driving 2 seems fine. I have a lot of hills in Wales not sure switching from 2 to 3 will help much. So leaving with HVAC controls.

I didn't know that you could put the air conditioning controls on the STAR (joker button) to the right of the steering wheel.

Can you confirm or deny?

I put the regeneration level on the right STAR and the 360° camera on the left.

Yes I can confirm RH star is my Aircon.

Left - Regen, I use it every time I drive the car.
Right - Camera, there are times when it doesn't activate when I think it should.

I noticed on mine that it can't be activated if Android Auto ( CP?) is active.

Hi. I've had my Trophy for weeks and still trying to fathom some of the settings so I have not set the star buttons myself. However, I find that pressing the left star brings up the 360 camera or pressing the right star brings up the A/C which means I can change temp, fan speed etc from the R/H function button. I don't know if the dealer set this up or if it came set like this off the production line.

I have the AC on the right as it would not work on the left and have the brake regeneration on the left.

I bet you it did work on the left button ... just that you still needed to use the right stick to control it. (The MG4 is the same).

Never tried that, but it's easier to have them on the right in that case. One button to cover it, instead of two. If only they would set it up to work, when Android Auto is selected.

I usually connect my smartphone to the car and use Google Maps. When GMaps is displayed, some shortcuts you can configure in the favourite stars don't work. For instance, if you are using maps and want to use the air conditioning controls from the steering wheel, you are forced to press the home button in the central console to open the menu. I hope they make it compatible in future versions.

I've tried this out and on the MG3, the HVAC will not display if Android Auto is on the main screen. The only option is to press the home button, first. Unless mine is different to all the other 3's.
