MG3 Hybrid+ Trophy
Today we received information regarding my wife's new MG3+ Trophy which we had for a total of one day before it had to be recovered due to a long list of faults. We was told today that the fault is unexplainable and only 1 other car has had the same issues, this has resulted in MG stripping the car back to its shell to try and find what is the issue.

I have to give credit to Stoneacre Derby they have been amazing, due to the fault with the car they have ordered my with a new car to replace the faulty one and provide a MG3 (old style) until her new car arrives. Due to the way the dealer has dealt with this I will be looking at getting the new MG HS plug in Hybrid for my self in the next month or two.

The time we had the MG3+ Trophy was great and has not put my wife off the car one bit.

Would be interesting to hear what the faults were.

After 6 weeks no problems at all, just the one thing when I picked it up the key fob's boot locking button would not lock/unlock the boot. The normal locking and unlocking buttons work perfectly on the boot, so no problem really. My MG dealer could not then book the car in to look at for over two months - then how long to fix it? Not good is it.

Yeah this is the only thing that scares me with MG - the aftercare/after sales seems like dealers have massive waiting lists! ?

It doesn't say much for the thoroughness of their pdi's either. Have had 10 years of MG3s so we know the problems. Tried to get this one from anyone else here in the south, no names, but the same lot run them all.
It seems MG owners must still suffer as of old...
