Having used my MG4 ACC quite a bit now I’m finding its behaviour is…well…pretty nervous.
Lots of de-acceleration when changing lanes, timid on bends, and not a lot of fluidity in how it accommodates cars changing into my lane.
Any minor change in the speed of the car in front translates into quite a rapid braking….even though my inter vehicle spacing is set at the max…hmmm.
Thought maybe I could reduce this effect…possibly add some elasticity into how it was behaving….by changing the regen setting to say adaptive…but no luck here. Made no difference.
While the whole of MG Pilot could benefit from refinement, I think the ACC could especially do with real world tuning.
The Adaptive Cruise in my previous late model Toyota Corolla Hybrid was way more refined, way more forgiving.
The MG4 ACC is choppy and nervous.
Any help or thoughts here appreciated.
