Hi, i found the auto lights on my mg4 too sensitive. It can go to dark mode for the smallest dark section and stay at dark mode for 15 seconds after.

Its very annoying when using Android Auto and waze go to dark mode at sunny days.

Complain at your dealership. They have an update for that.

There is a fix, but you can also do something about it yourself in the mean time. Read this thread.

In short, prise the cover off the light sensor, and all will be well. Keep the cover because you'll want to put it back on when you get the update.

Thank you, i think i will just drive with the cover off. Getting an update from tbe dealer that isn't multimedia update is a hell.

But if i will cover the light sensor the headlights will be on all the time
Don't cover the sensor with anything. The idea is to remove the existing cover to make the sensor 'see' a greater light level - so it has to be darker for the lights to come on.
