MG4 Equalisation Charge

Ah, the advantages of Agile. I will have to live with my 6 hours IOG cheap rate and pay full rate for the remainder. All in a good cause.
An aside to Rolfe if she reads this: I cannot see reference to a sub-10% charge in my manual. Probably missing it, but whereabouts should I find it?

The relevant section was quoted earlier in this thread (I think - may have been in another thread).

Edit: it's another thread; can't remember which one though.

Comments enabled me to find the manual page reference = page 295. Was expecting to find it in the battery charging section, which is what fooled me.

I use OIG like you, but look here for the forward Agile pricing which gives an indication of possible 7.5p slots on OIG;-

Greener Days forecast is showing well for the next three days too.

Tried to do an equalisation charge today at my place of work, they use "Monta" chargers which have their own specific app.
I set it to charge to 100% to which the charging then automatically stops. However just checking the iSmart app the car is reading a 99% battery charge.

I guess this means it wont equalise and I'd have to set it to charge again?

With Monta I always specify to just charge and don’t set a limit on their app. If I set a percentage, it tries to calculate it based on what I tell it: total capacity of the battery and current percentage. It did not read the percentage directly from the car AFAIK but I might be incorrect on this.

Showing how much of an amateur I am I didn't even realise you could set it to a continuous charge, I've always had it set to 80%!

I've plugged the car back in, set it to continuous and lets see what happens.

Is it an AC charger?
I believe you can't balance charge on DC but I may be wrong.
